This is part of the old Queen Bee Mill which used to sit next to the falls. It would use the power of the falls to turn a wheel in the area below the building, which was in turn connected to belts to run machinery inside the mill. In the fenced in area in the background you can see the rest of the ruins of the Queen Bee which was at one time a 4 story building. It burned down years ago before I was even born.* They hold Shakesperian type plays inside the ruins during the summer. You can see part of the falls just below the building. *about 39 years ago ;-)
