From the "bridge" of the USS South Dakota, or at least what it must have looked like back in WWII when she was serving. The wheel, compass & all instruments you see here were preserved before BB-57 ,sometimes called Battleship X , was scrapped. Thanks to all of you for your views & great comments!!
