f/5.6, 25sec, ISO-100, focus unlimited. This is a scaled down image of the photo, and has been manipulated a bit, to give the best effect. Had a great storm sweaping over the country the other day - and it gave me the first chance in a very long time to try to catch a lightning bolt. Messed most of it up before I found the just right settings on my E-400, and THIS is my very first photography of a lightning bolt, but I'd be damned if it'll be my last! But when the next storm grows: use check list: 1) check battery is fully charged. 2) Manuel focus for "unlimited" is counterclockwise, not clockwise. 3) Remember to do a "pixel mapping" before shooting night shots, to minimize that damn noise. :-D
