This is yet another image from my current project. As I mentioned in my previous post I live in a city known more for the crime rate and poverty rather than the beauty that is right in our face. My project attempts to show the hidden beauty of the city while showing what the potential or lack thereof for a young life to be successful or swallowed by its surroundings. My subject holds red flowers..a red ball..and other objects that symbolize hope for a life outside of the "ghetto" or a prosperous, beautiful, and bountifull life within it.
