... there's no place like home! lol Middletown, Connecticut, USA. Colonel Clarence Wadsworth built this humble summer abode in 1900. I can only imagine what the more formal, larger winter residence might have looked like. Its classical architecture belies the contemporary construction of steel and concrete. Its 500 acres were planned and developed by the Olmsted Brothers. Enjoy!
