Juneau, Alaska, USA - July 2011. Just Another Mountain. Juneau is a huge town, covering 3,255 square miles. Though most live in the city, at sea level, it is surrounded by 3,000 to 4,000 foot high mountains atop which are the Juneau Icefield. The field has thirty glaciers. Cooler temperatures and breezes create lots of clouds. Enjoy!
