Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. The Wren Building, viewed from the 'town' side, maintains the symmetry of architecture of the era. On the steps from the arched door are two small cannons that were captured from the British after the surrender at Yorktown. The statue is of Norborne Berkeley, Lord Botetourt, the fourth governor of the Virginia colony. (Shortly after this photo was taken, several college students brought some pumpkins to the lawn and proceeded to carve them for Halloween.)
