Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. A relative gave us this flower last year, but did not know its name. The flowers are about a bit larger than an inch in diameter, fully opened in a cup shape, on stalks about seven to nine inches tall, with narrow leaves about an inch and a half long. It is a perennial in that it is self seeding, growing in full sun to partial shade. As a What's It Wednesday question - does anyone of our Caedes flower experts know what kind of flower this is?
