San Diego, California, USA. First built by Douglas Aircraft in 1945, this plane type saw service with the US Navy, Marines, and Air Force, as well as British and French military. Eventually replaced by jet aircraft, this single-seat attack plane saw operational use in Korea and Viet Nam. The A1's last service was in the Gabonese Air Force in 1986.
