San Diego, California, USA. Among the early jets, this one, built by Grumman, was developed in the early-mid 1950s. This version was fitted as a photo reconnaissance plane, refitted for other purposes in the early 1960s. The Blue Angels flew these aircraft in the 1950s. Volunteers work on the Midway, restoring old military aircraft, this particular jet being a product of their work.
