Rocky Hill, Connecticut, USA. Thanks to the good work of many geese, this pond maintains this 'lovely' shade of algae green. Yesterday morning, on the way to a photo shoot for a volunteer group, I drove by the pond seeing this cow standing, with no other animals nearby. Three hours later, returning home, the cow was still in the same place in the pond, only having turned around. In the distance a number of painted turtles were sunning on rocks. The cluster of cows shown in this post , missing earlier, were standing nearby paying her no attention.
