20% of the beach lot homes have a natural pond in thier backyards, even the homes that are a 100 meters back from the shore line, and some have ponds in the back and front. Just like the little yellow house here, and the pond on the front side is connected to Champagne pond thats connected to a small bay. It's not uncommon to see 5 to 20 Turtles swimming with you or just resting. If you jump in at nite.. you can count up to 35 of them resting. I think they come in to stay away from the big guy in the grey suit! lol. No one is allowed to touch the Turtles. The days are like this over 10 months out of a year. repost
