The Collegiate Peaks include some of the highest mountains in the Colorado Rockies. Eight peaks exceeding 14,000 feet are found here The section is so named because several of the mountains are named for prominent universities. Mounts Yale, Harvard, Princeton. Columbia and Oxford.
