This 10-story building has been named the tallest tree house in the world and is located in Crossville, Tennessee.. Inside the building one can find a spiral staircase, a sanctuary, a choir loft, a basketball court and several rooms and balconies. In addition, the designer decided to build a belfry tower, this treehouse MUST be seen and explored, but please carry some prudence about you when poking around. you can feel a slight sway as you ascend the creaky stairs caused by wind and people running around. I only mention prudence because there are a multitude of spots that invite you to make precarious and potentially dangerous climbs, certain ladders are unsteady; cracks between floorboards range from teensy to canyonesque. its important to look where you step. Another not-uncommon sight is the room or corridor missing a wall, the floorboards ending at a sheer drop to either the outside or to a wood refuse pit below. This all makes for terribly exciting scouting but I could only make it to the eight floor of the tree house before calling it quits. Thanks for viewing one of America's offbeat oddities
