The "Basler fasnacht" (carnival of Basel) takes place in the week after Ash Wednesday, and last 72 hours without break, beginning on monday at 4 a.m. During the three days, many different brass bands and decorated wagons parade through the city, most with eloborate costumes, and all throwing confetti.
This series is from the carnival last year. I hope you'll enjoy it!
