This Indian was participating in last years re-enactment of the 1758 Battle of Ticonderoga. As background, the battle was fought on July 8, 1758, during the French and Indian War (which was part of the global Seven Years' War). While the original image is quite colorful with a red shirt and matching head feathers, I think the image is most effective in B/W. One for LE's Challenge.
