Starlings are NOT among my favorite birds. In large numbers they are a nuisance. In small groups ... bullies at the feeders. But I have to give them their due. Seasonal plummage in the right light can be nothing less than stunning to the eye. I haven't caught this one displaying those fluorescent hues, but I think this one of the better bird images I've captured of late. Obviously a biased opinion ... so I await yours "pro" or "con". Feel comfortable in expressing a "con" comment ... I hope I never get too old to accept an honest critique from which I can learn.
