I've taken quite a few shots of these hoppers through the years. I don't think I've ever got one where you could see his teeth. It didn' take him long to devour that Lillie that was about to bloom. There was only a stem left when I checked a while later. I didn't try to stomp this one with my foot. I was afraid if I missed he'd bite off a toe or two.
