This image is very, very busy......however, look closely. The rock wanted to squish the life out of the little tree and the tree said, "I don't think so! I shall rise above you!" And he grew and he grew and he grew. Or perhaps the little rock felt very alone and frightened in the forest and the little tree said....."Don't be afraid. I will grow tall and strong and shade you with my branches. And my roots will help anchor you. And we will become one....." Ah, either way, the tree came out on top!!!! Maybe that's why its called White Top?
