Tomorrow, 21st December, is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. I'm always struck by the way the sun's power is watered down at this time of year. This was taken at about 3.00 pm, about an hour before the sun was going to disappear after giving us just a short glimpse of daylight.
