The last of the Mt St Helens triptych. Here I saw the upturned roots of a tree symbolizing fingers pointing at the source of its destruction.
Plus, I just liked the angle that it presented and also that you could get a glimpse of one of the lakes there.
An excerpt from the LINK I'm going to leave with this one. "Fish in rivers near the volcano literally jumped onto shore as the water temperature rocketed to 90 degrees. On the whole, the eruption turned 230 square miles of lush forest that lured 500,000 visitors a year for wilderness recreation into a lunar wasteland."
Last one! I swear, and then I'll take you along with me to see another few, fairer views that turned up "out West"!
