So lacking peak where I live, I drove up north to see what I could find as far as our Fall Color this year. In my search these lovelies appeared in their finest and standing beside a lake as well. Yes, it is long past the time for the summer crowd, but the season itself was in its full glory. We've had a lot of rain since this photo was taken, so once again the Autumn season in NE may not be as advertised.
