Ok – perhaps not the most exciting Martian image visually but a different story from a scientific slant as scientists believe this to be an active glacier – the first one of its kind to be discovered on Mars and probably less than a few thousand years old. Last month, the Mars Express celebrated its five thousandth orbit of the Red Planet since its arrival on Christmas Day, 2003.
