A giant statue of the Hindu God Lord Shiva at the Ganga Talao (Grand Bassin/Holy lake) in the heart of Mauritius.

The 108 foot high statue is a relatively new installation at the holy lake which is a beautiful and tranquil location and a sacred place for the islands' Hindu community.

Nothing special composition wise - just playing around with some aperture/exposure controls on the camera to find optimal detail settings. May have to reduce/turn off the in camera sharpening also.
