Flower of bottlebrush tree (Callistemon). The 'flower' is actually a series of clumps of stamens (petals are almost nonexistant) that open from the bottom out to the end of the branch before they fade away. This one has just a few more to open. Native to AUS but do very well in SoAZ USA.
