This hasta seed pod showed itself about two days ago after its flower dropped away. I didn't believe the hasta could produce something prettier than the flower. I was clearly wrong. Sadly this photo was the last my 400mm lens would take. The next day its drum inexplicably opened and dropped two screws onto the floor.
