This grand old tree was brought down a few years back due to a land erosion,. This is one of the biggest problems now around the UK coastline. This was taken on the Isle of Wight where this area alone has lost a hundred yards in just a few years. Local authorities say it is too costly to pay for reinforcement schemes, so the erosion goes on. Sad . Ron.
