Today I start this new series, I hope you will enjoy it, if not, the C-Index will tell me!...lol:)) The Reitdiepdal is the oldest man-made landscape in Europe and developed as a result of the course of the Hunze river that connected the city Groningen to the sea. The Reitdiepdal landscape northwest of Groningen owes its identity to the traces of 2500 years of habitation and struggling against the water. The area, including old villages such as Ezinge, Garnwerd, and Aduarderzijl, meandering roads, unique man-made landscapes and the Reitdiep, is extremely suitable for an active bicycle ride!......... ( Many thanks to VVV -Tourist info GRONINGEN for this narrative in the English language!)
