This suspension bridge was built as a CCC project during the depression. It bridges the Menomonnee river in Wauwatosa and leads to Hoyt Park. I will eventually have more pictures of the now-defunct swimming pool at Hoyt which was once the largest outdoor swimming pool in the Midwest. Next year this bridge will celebrate it's 70th birthday, and it is still all original. I played here when I was a child, my son played here when he was a child and now Mark plays here. Talk about a walk down memory lane. This shot was taken from the bridge looking North. Mark took a shot of just hte cobblestone entrance/exit which shows the suspension cables quite well here. Honest comments and critiques please.
