This honeybee was clinging to the side of a large rock at the arboretum today. There was a heavy rain yesterday and it was still cool & windy, so this may have been just a place to warm up. It's becoming clear that bees have a hard time staying tidy. I also use a 2:1 to 3:1 bias on the ring flash, that's why the reflection is stronger on the left side. I need to dial down the flash more for greater detail.
