Another small bay in the coastline along California’s Highway 1. This is a three shot composite taken with the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II tilt/shift lens, on a 6D body. Even though I use a 3-axis spirit level attached to the hot shoe, the horizon line in the finished picture still usually needs to be adjusted. Maybe 5% of the image is lost to cropping, just to fix that feature. So a level set-up is every bit as important as the camera settings.
