Another pre-1918 postcard brought back from Europe by my grandfather, Grover Hendricks, after his service with the US Army in WWI as an ambulance driver. By the card title I'm assuming the house was red and even gaudier than at first glance. Money always talks though, and you could have the biggest eyesore on the block with enough cash and bad taste. The novelty of being photo- graphed is apparent again with children and adults just stopping in the street and staring at the camera.
