This is an early model Ford Pickup...and restored to a point well past its beauty when it just a working guy! My daughter's boyfriend's father shows antique cars, and I understand that his pickup and this one normally trade awards as "Best Pickup" in the local shows (but he wasn't entered in this particular show). I asked about the box in front of the truck, and was told that, according to the sponsoring group's regulations, "a fire extinguisher must be present near the vehicle's right front tire" for this particular make, model and year. So then I asked if the multitude of cigarette butts scattered under this car was part of the "display"...and the only answer I got was a laugh and a shrug! Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
