This is Ruffin's Pond in Caroline County, Virginia. I shot this scene earlier this summer from a wide, shady spot on the side of the road. I drove past this pond a week or so ago and discovered that the pond had been partially dredged to remove this wide spot and the overhanging trees. Now there is only a steel rail along the side of the road. Thanks for taking a look and I hope you like this pic!
