A 1 inch caterpillar crawling around on a 1X6" deck railing. It was well past sunset, tripod was out of the question, and only enough light for f/5 using 112mm macro at ISO 400.I expect the title will become obvious when you see the eye markings. After he/she was through checking me, I managed a broadside shot as it continued up the stair railing. (next post)
