This is a momma raccoon that came for dinner every evening for many years. She trained and raised her babies, on my deck and in the trees surrounding it....bringing them in, two at a time, and a week apart, as she always had six each Spring. By late Spring the youngsters would climb all over me when I sat on the deck floor, while she sat just a foot or two away. watching their every move.
