This was taken in Grace Hospital where I had my first eye operation.I always carried a camera and the hospital was no exception. This little guy was awake late one night, and was missing his home and family. The nurses must have all been having coffee as there was no one in the immediate area. I talked to him for a minute and went back to my room for some jelly beans and my Leica.He was quietly crying again and I grabbed this shot. I think he thought I wasn't coming back. Now he was more interested in the camera than the jelly beans, but he finished them before a nurse turned up and took him back to his bed.
