The quality is poor, but thought it was interesting. This is a quite young Eastern Milk snake, sitting in the bottom of a six inch (high and wide) white tub. Didn't want him to get run over, but got a few pix and put him back in the woods. The bottom of the tub was rather shabby, so I changed the background. If you ever encountered the Karsh portrait of Winston Churchill, taken in Ottawa, Canada, during the Second World War, the snakes grimace and attitude is quite similar.
