I wasn't sure about posting a lowly gull ... but I saw Si's 'An Gullen' and was struck by the difference in beak and eyes in this shot. This is 'some kind of gull' on the ice at Nathan Philips Square, Toronto. I was enjoying the sun, he was hoping for handouts.
