This was taken today at the Fernwood Botanical Gardens, which is just west of Niles, Michigan. For anybody who lives around these parts, I highly recommend a visit. The natural beauty was very impressive and the sounds of the the little streams and small water falls, was so calming. I even found a part of this beautiful place that offers a wonderful nature walk along the St. Joseph River, and after returning home and reading the brochure I see there is a railway garden as well. I just might go back there if I can before the season ends for the railway garden, which is the end of Oct.

This will be my entry into the current contest.

I used the Sigma 17-70 lens for all of my shots from this marvelous place.

I enjoyed it so much I became a member.
