This beautiful tiger can be found at this exotic cats haven

My girlfriend, and I had a wonderful visit with these beautiful big cats.

The stories of what brought them to this place are sad, but at least they were rescued, and now well cared for.

We have already decided to make a trip back there about March and do an overnight stay. They have a cottage that overlooks some of the big cats, you get to spend the morning going with the staffers to watch the feeding and caring of these big cats, and get to see more of the grounds, and more cats, you can see a picture of the lodge by checking out the link I provided. They have 223 cats as of today's visit. Very sad when you think of why they are there, they were rescued or given up by people who thought they were cute as cubs and found out how hard it is to keep them, and also from some very bad and neglected conditions.

Some of the farmers in the area donate their deceased livestock to the center, they will go and pick it up from the farmers.

This was our second visit to this place, and the best one yet. It was a cloudy, and cool day, and they were more active and all of the cats were vocal so we heard the Lions roar, the chuffing of the tigers, and the cry of the cougars. We also got to see how they feed them, so we timed it right.

This was started and less than 20 acres, and has developed into more acreage by one man, and his love, and concern for these big cats. He has some very caring keepers to help him, and they are very hands on, and very well informed.

I used the canon 450D with the canon 70-300 IS USM lens handheld and shot through heavy wire fencing.

Thank you for your comments, and hope you enjoy this one as well as the ones to follow.

Tigs♥ =^..^=
