The fellow in the kayak was getting instructions from the guy on the bank, as it was his first time kayaking. I took this in early autumn, and both gents were very nice to talk too.

As we brace ourselves in this part of the country for possible record breaking cold temps. I thought this might help warm you up some, and briefly forget about the snow on the ground, and more to come tonight, with that extreme cold blast about to hit.

I'm one to listen to the weatherman even though sometimes they get it wrong, but they say it's going to hit us for sure this time. System snow, and then lake effect snow, and that extreme cold with the lake effect.

I hope everyone stays safe during this time, and please remember your pets, they will not be able to tolerate it either, and will need your help if they are outside.
