Lake Michigan on a beautiful day. Those pilings are what is left of pier that was used many years ago, when they logged the area, and shipped the load to Chicago.

I noticed also that they have had beach erosion since last year. If you go down that path, there is a small beach, and if you want to walk through water and over rocks you can still get to the rest of the beach. I chose not too, and I still enjoyed my time there.

There has been beach erosion, the lake level is high this year, and many seawalls have had to be fixed. This is something that they have to deal with living on the big blue.
