This is my favorite place to visit when I go to Brooklyn, Michigan. Sty told me about it some years ago, and in the last two years they have actually made it into a park. This area here is part of the state park, and if you take one of the trails to the East it connects you to the county section.

I did so much walking, and social distancing was not a problem at all, I only saw a handful of people, and I was out there by myself almost every morning.

I did see Sty while there, and we did some night shooting at this wonderful place. That will be another post in the near future.
