This caterpillar hangs around in his cocoon all day in my backyard. He emerges at night to eat leaves but he never completely leaves the cocoon so I haven’t seen his back legs yet. As he eats the leaves in one area he moves the cocoon to a new bunch of fresh leaves. I don’t know how he moves the cocoon around but he does because it’s at site number 4 at the moment.
