How can you go to the big island (Hawaii) and not see a lava flow? It is pretty amazing. In order to get to the best viewing location (along with about 500 other people mind you) we had to walk across day-old land. Coming back after nightfall, the cracks below your feet <i>glow red hot</i>. Quite an experience!
