These are Aphids on a milk weed leaf; the ant will not eat the Aphids but they do milk them which is what this one is doing I believe. The ants will keep other insects off the plant to protect the Aphids and so they can coexist in harmony. I used a Nikon D7100 with a Mamiya MF 120mm macro lens and a 36mm extension tube.
