When I saw Jeenie11(Jens) photo of this lovely yellow flower I just had to do a painting of it. I decided to use black acrylic(ABS) as the canvas, instead of the standard canvas, because I just knew that yellow would look wonderful on the black. So by using acrylic paints on acrylic material, the two things almost 'fuse' together.I used a pallette knife and brushes. Of course, the effect doesn't really show up that well by taking a photo of a painting. I hope Jen will like this version of her photo.
