Heart Storm

You have become
the storm in my heart
I feel as though I am the red kite
tumbling in a sapphire colored sky gliding happily over the sea
resonating in silent surrender
as you walk within my mind

You are the raging sea
frolicking yet gently moving
as does the tide that
laps upon the shore
you calm my evening sunset
as its apricot fires burn
upon every fiber of my heart

Your words are the curl
in the thunder before the rain
when it ripples gently
across the rolling hills
filling valleys and mountains
with purpled green shadows
upon shores of eternal spring

You have entered my life
as the ivory coloured albatross
smooth it glides upon breezes
being carried by whispers
taken to lands of fantasy
places of whimsy and dreams
always searching for tomorrow

Today you are my springtime
caressing me with scents of jasmine you have brought softness
into my early evening silence
brought enchantment to my heart
now, please, allow me to
give the same gift to you
