Historie The castle existed supposedly already in the 11de centuries, as an artificial hillock citadel (motte). Later it is in the course of the 14e centuries the citadel was converted to a polygonal water citadel in Renaissance style cultivated with very heavy wall work in the cellars. In 1371 the castle was damaged slightly by a overval of geldersen. Later still repeatedly cultivated and modified last in the 19th century then additives recovered there in neogotische style. Beautiful 16th centuries fortress with "bacon layers" in the wall.
